Palo Alto-based startup Glow has raised $180 million in a Series A round at a $1.2 billion valuation. The company is developing a platform to protect corporate devices.
Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks and Redpoint Ventures participated in the round. The funding is expected to support security tools for employee laptops, servers and other connected devices.
The platform monitors software, AI agents and developer tools, assesses risk in real time and enforces corporate policies. Its stated functions include blocking malicious npm packages and identifying suspicious activity by AI agents.
Glow was founded by former Meta vice president Roy Tiger, Snowflake cybersecurity strategy executive Omer Singer and Claroty research head Ofir Arie. It plans to compete with CrowdStrike, Microsoft and SentinelOne.
The developers are focusing on preventing attacks before they enter a corporate network, contrasting that approach with conventional products that often detect threats after they emerge. Glow has not disclosed its commercial performance.
