Uzbekistan registered 11,040 marriages in 2025 in which the wife was older than the husband, the National Statistics Committee said.
Tashkent recorded the largest number, at 1,809. It was followed by the Khorezm region with 1,066 and the Kashkadarya region with 995.
The Bukhara region recorded 979 such marriages, Samarkand 967, Tashkent region 928, Surkhandarya 850 and Karakalpakstan 772.
The figure stood at 715 in the Fergana region, 509 in Namangan and 486 in Andijan.
The lowest totals were recorded in the Jizzakh region at 373, Navoi at 351 and Syrdarya at 240.
