Uzhydromet forecasts daytime temperatures of up to 42°C in parts of Uzbekistan on August 14, with no precipitation expected across most regions.
Tashkent will see slightly cloudy and dry weather. Temperatures will range from 24°C to 26°C at night and reach 38–40°C during the day.
Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region will record 20–25°C at night and 35–40°C during the day, with slight to variable cloud cover.
Bukhara and Navoi regions will reach 37–42°C during the day. Nighttime temperatures will be 21–26°C, rising to 27–30°C in some desert areas.
Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions will see daytime temperatures of 35–40°C and nighttime readings of 21–26°C. No precipitation is forecast.
Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions will reach 37–42°C during the day and 21–26°C at night. Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions will record 35–40°C by day and 21–26°C overnight.
Brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in mountainous areas, where temperatures will range from 15°C to 20°C at night and 28–33°C during the day.
