Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee said the country’s botanical gardens recorded 1.17 million visits in 2025.
The figure was 3.8 times higher than in 2024. The published data represent visits rather than the number of unique visitors.
As of 1 January 2026, Uzbekistan had three botanical gardens, located in Karakalpakstan, Bukhara region and Tashkent.
Their combined area grew by 6 hectares during 2025 to reach 113.3 hectares.
