Nordwind Airlines will launch direct flights from Kazan to Samarkand and Namangan, according to a report citing the carrier.
Flights to Samarkand will begin on 26 August. The new route to Namangan will open on 5 September.
Passengers from Moscow and St Petersburg will also be able to reach the two Uzbek cities with a connection at Kazan airport.
Nordwind already operates flights from Kazan to Tashkent. The airport in the capital of Tatarstan is one of the airline’s bases, where it is developing a transit route network.
