Uzbek authorities will hold a separate meeting on 7 August to address problems facing domestic exporters whose deliveries were affected by attacks on Wildberries warehouse infrastructure in Russia.
A textile industry representative raised the issue during an open dialogue between the Government Commission and business owners in Khorezm region. He said damage to logistics facilities had disrupted deliveries and reduced exports.
The company employs 300 people and previously exported $3 million worth of goods each year. It now faces a risk of accumulating accounts receivable.
Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev said he had discussed the situation with Wildberries management. Officials intend to prepare a systemic solution at a meeting with the marketplace on 7 August.
The Central Bank and the Cabinet of Ministers were also instructed to examine possible debts owed to Uzbek suppliers.
