Uzbekistan ranked sixth worldwide by fresh cherry export volume in 2024, according to data from the UN Comtrade database.
The country shipped 32,200 tonnes of cherries abroad in 2024, worth $70.4 million.
Chile led with 529,500 tonnes, followed by Hong Kong with 168,400 tonnes, the United States with 84,200 tonnes, Türkiye with 66,500 tonnes and Spain with 34,100 tonnes. Greece followed Uzbekistan with 28,000 tonnes.
Uzbekistan exported 31,700 tonnes in 2025. Its highest annual volume over the past decade was recorded in 2021 at 60,800 tonnes.
From January through June 2026, Uzbekistan exported 23,300 tonnes of cherries to 11 countries. The shipments were worth $57.9 million.
The first-half 2026 figures describe current shipments, while the sixth-place ranking is based on comparable international data for 2024.
