Uzbekistan produced 18.3 billion cubic metres of natural gas in January–June 2026, down 16.4% from a year earlier.
Oil output fell 3.1% to 313,800 tonnes, while gas condensate production dropped 19.7% to 462,100 tonnes. Coal output declined to 2.5 million tonnes, 16.7% below the first half of 2025.
Compared with January–June 2024, gas production was down 18.7%, oil output fell 13.9%, and gas condensate production decreased 26.1%.
Some refined products recorded growth. Motor gasoline production rose 6% year on year to 614,200 tonnes, although it remained 9.1% below the 2024 level.
Diesel output increased 2.1% to 568,000 tonnes, while Portland cement production grew 2% to 10.1 million tonnes.
Electricity generation rose 5.7% to 44.14 billion kWh. Small businesses increased generation by 36.7%, while large enterprises cut electricity output by 4.6% and heat production by 18.1%.
