Uzbekistan investment rises 17.5% to 338.9 trillion soum

Manufacturing received 100.5 trillion soum, more than any other sector.

Data from the National Statistics Committee show that fixed-capital investment reached 338.9 trillion Uzbek soum in January–June 2026.

The total was 17.5% higher than in the same period of 2025 and covered all sources financing the economy and social sector.

Manufacturing received the largest amount at 100.5 trillion soum. Agriculture, forestry and fishing attracted 32.9 trillion soum, while construction received 32.5 trillion soum.

Electricity and gas supply, steam and air conditioning attracted 29.9 trillion soum. Housing construction received 27.3 trillion soum and mining 21.8 trillion soum.

Transport and storage received 16.3 trillion soum, trade and vehicle repairs 13.7 trillion soum, and water supply and waste management 7.4 trillion soum.

Education attracted 7.2 trillion soum, information and communications 5.8 trillion soum, and accommodation and food services 5.6 trillion soum.

Professional, scientific and technical activities and health and social services each received 4.6 trillion soum. Finance and insurance attracted 2.4 trillion soum, while arts, entertainment and recreation received 2 trillion soum.
