Tashkent recorded Uzbekistan’s largest regional volume of market services in January–June 2026, data from the National Statistics Committee show.
Market services totalled UZS 664.9 trillion nationwide. Tashkent accounted for UZS 274.4 trillion, or 41.3% of the national figure according to a Brief newsroom calculation.
Market-service volumes by region were:
- Tashkent city — UZS 274.4 trillion;
- Samarkand region — UZS 47.3 trillion;
- Tashkent region — UZS 45.5 trillion;
- Fergana region — UZS 44.2 trillion;
- Andijan region — UZS 34 trillion;
- Kashkadarya region — UZS 31.3 trillion;
- Namangan region — UZS 30.7 trillion;
- Bukhara region — UZS 25.6 trillion;
- Khorezm region — UZS 23.2 trillion;
- Surkhandarya region — UZS 20.8 trillion;
- Karakalpakstan — UZS 19.7 trillion;
- Navoi region — UZS 16.1 trillion;
- Jizzakh region — UZS 14.7 trillion;
- Syrdarya region — UZS 9.5 trillion.
After Tashkent, the largest totals were recorded in Samarkand, Tashkent and Fergana regions. Syrdarya had the lowest volume among the regions listed.
