Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, measuring 4.1mm when unfolded and weighing 215 grams, according to the model’s official product page.
The foldable phone has a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner screen. The Ultra is presented as a separate model alongside the standard 201-gram Galaxy Z Fold8.
The device uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. The 1TB version comes with 16GB of RAM, while the 256GB and 512GB configurations have 12GB.
Its main camera has a 200-megapixel sensor. The phone also carries a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom, and supports 8K video recording.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh. A 45W adapter is required for the fastest supported wired charging.
The device carries an IP48 rating. Samsung Knox and Knox Vault provide data-protection features, although the manufacturer does not describe them as an absolute security guarantee.
Pricing and release timing vary by market. The verified US product page lists 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage configurations.
