Minsk Motor Plant is developing V12 and V16 engine ranges with output of up to 3,500 horsepower, BelTA reported, citing plant chief executive Alexander Botvinnik.
The plant’s main range has until now covered roughly 35 to 300 hp. In 2026, MMZ plans to build and test an engine producing between 450 and 600 hp.

The company is also preparing to show a 69-litre engine prototype producing more than 3,000 hp. The 3,500 hp figure is the upper limit of the range under development, not the confirmed output of a finished production engine.

The new units are being developed with Russian partners. For some versions, 99.8% of components are sourced within the Union State.
MMZ engines are used in road-building, construction, agricultural and specialist machinery. The plant supplies production lines at more than 50 companies.
