Developer VoidTech has run an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 on a Huawei Qingyun W510 computer with a Kunpeng 920 processor and Windows 11 ARM. Nvidia does not officially support this configuration.
The system used a 24-core ARM processor, 32GB of DDR4-2933 memory and Windows 11 ARM64 23H2. Booting the operating system required an ACPI patch, while the graphics card used a modified ARM64 driver based on the generation-590 RTX Spark package.
Windows 11 ARM was run on Huawei Kunpeng 920 and an Nvidia discrete graphics card was successfully enabled. Hardware: Huawei Qingyun W510 (Kunpeng 920) + RTX 4060. System: Windows 11 ARM64 (23H2). The driver is based on the generation-590 RTX Spark driver and is for technical research only. The graphics card functions work, but there is no video output signal, so streaming is used. Some games are incompatible and x64 translation reduces performance — VoidTech, developer and author of the experiment
The system detected DirectX 12, Vulkan and hardware acceleration. Blender recognised the RTX 4060 through CUDA, and GPU utilisation reached about 89% during testing.
Gaming performance remained limited: Genshin Impact ran at about 20 frames per second at 1080p, Black Myth: Wukong averaged about 21 fps, and Star Wars Reflections delivered 23–25 fps.
In 3DMark, the system scored 43,530 in Night Raid, 32,370 in Solar Bay and 2,252 in Speed Way. Time Spy, running through x64 translation, scored 6,369.
The test demonstrates that this specific unsupported configuration can work, but it does not mean Nvidia has added official support for desktop GeForce cards on arbitrary ARM computers. The lack of video output and losses from x64 translation still limit practical use.
