Uzbekistan’s Interior Ministry has drafted an instruction to move traffic-violation casework into an electronic format.
Under the proposal, administrative cases would be handled through the Administrative Practice module of the Interior Ministry Road Safety Service’s unified automated information system.
Appeals and complaints could be filed at any territorial centre in the country, regardless of where the violation occurred. The plan also introduces a one-stop service model and an open, barrier-free setting for receiving visitors.
Case files, physical evidence and digital evidence would be sent to courts electronically. The change is intended to reduce paperwork in traffic-violation proceedings.
Road patrol officers would record violations on tablets at the scene. Electronic reports could be confirmed with a graphical signature or a fingerprint.
Decisions and notices would be delivered through mobile apps, SMS and personal accounts on the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services.
