The volume of education services in Uzbekistan reached UZS 23.8 trillion in January—June 2026, data from the National Statistics Committee show.
The figure rose 22.7% compared with the first half of 2025.
Higher education accounted for 42.4% of all education services, the largest share in the sector.
Education service volumes by region were as follows:
- Tashkent city — UZS 12.7 trillion;
- Samarkand region — UZS 1.5 trillion;
- Fergana region — UZS 1.5 trillion;
- Andijan region — UZS 1.2 trillion;
- Tashkent region — UZS 1.1 trillion;
- Namangan region — UZS 1.1 trillion;
- Bukhara region — UZS 1 trillion;
- Kashkadarya region — UZS 877.7 billion;
- the Republic of Karakalpakstan — UZS 691.3 billion;
- Khorezm region — UZS 602.5 billion;
- Surkhandarya region — UZS 577.8 billion;
- Navoi region — UZS 373.6 billion;
- Jizzakh region — UZS 323.9 billion;
- Syrdarya region — UZS 243.6 billion.
