The Tashkent city administration reported that gas pressure regulators had been installed at 5,649 properties across the capital.
The initial plan covered 5,484 properties. The completed work exceeded the target by 165 addresses.
The regulators keep natural gas pressure within the required range and help stabilise supplies to consumers.
The equipment is being installed as the city moves to a two-stage gas distribution system. The administration expects the upgrade to reduce disruption risks during higher autumn and winter demand.
No citywide completion date for the transition has been announced.
