Uzbekneftegaz will commission small compressor stations at the North Berdak and East Berdak fields by the end of September, the company reported.
The facilities are to enter service after all modernisation work is completed. They are part of measures intended to stabilise natural gas production.
A separate plan will be drawn up to slow the decline in output at fields operated by the Mubarak Oil and Gas Production Department.
The company was also instructed to maintain production at existing fields, accelerate geological exploration and improve the effectiveness of geological and technical work.
Officials will prepare proposals to increase aviation kerosene and diesel production. Farms are expected to receive uninterrupted diesel supplies during the cotton harvest.
The measures were discussed following Uzbekneftegaz’s results for the first half of 2026. They are linked to preparations for autumn and winter and stable gas and petroleum-product supplies for households, social facilities and the economy.
