Uzbekistan imported 72,000 tonnes of beef in six months

Uzbekistan imported 72,000 tonnes of beef worth $359.5 million in January–June 2026.

Import volume increased by 6,000 tonnes, or 9.1%, compared with the same period of 2025.

India was the largest supplier at 33,900 tonnes. It was followed by:

• Belarus — 19,600 tonnes;

• Kazakhstan — 10,600 tonnes;

• Pakistan — 4,000 tonnes;

• other countries — 4,000 tonnes.
